We understand that not everyone can afford a pair of Prescription glasses and we would like to help.
People Helping People is a program in which people in need can apply for a free pair of prescription glasses.
If you are in need of prescription glasses, but are unable to afford them, please apply by clicking the link below.
This is an application-based process. Our team reads each application to make sure that we are reaching people who are unable to buy prescription glasses without our program.
You will need to provide:
1. One form of documentation to verify that you are in need.
Examples: Military ID, First Responder (Police, Fire Dept, EMS) identification, SNAP documents, authorization letter from Salvation Army, Red Cross, food bank, religious organization, shelter, etc.
You may cover up personal information outside of your name and date of birth. The more documents you provide, the quicker your application will be processed.
If you are unable to provide documentation from an organization, we will accept a name, phone number, and email address of a personal reference who has an active Facebook account and can verify your situation.
2. A photo of your eyeglass prescription.
Name and date of birth in the documentation above should match your prescription.
3. A short statement telling us how a pair of Payne Glasses would benefit you.
15 words or more, please
If your application is accepted, you will be sent a link to continue the process in order to receive your glasses free of charge. The only costs incurred would be the standard shipping fee of $5.95, which we are unable to waive.
All information shared in the application process will be kept confidential and will only be used for the qualification of this program.
