    I initially bought a pair of these Alpha Rounds in blue with bifocal lenses. Found I couldn't stand the bifocals. Asked if I could exchange for progressives; rapid and friendly response from customer service -- they suggested, keep the bifocals as back-up glasses, and get half their price off for a replacement pair. This suited me well, but I decided I wanted these to be my prescription sunglasses. They arrived quite promptly. I really like the look of these inexpensive frames; a big departure from my standard rectangular look. The tortoiseshell arms and blue frame really look good to me, the progressive lenses are just right (always a complex thing for an online purchase), and the sunglass treatment is dark and effective. Given the shape of the lenses, they're remarkably good in their role as sunglasses. In short, I am delighted with these 'replacement' glasses. The first photo is of me in the bifocals, taken (with my phone) by a photographer who'd just given an interesting presentation. The second photo doesn't really capture how pleasingly *blue* they appear when worn.

    These frames are very cute and seem to be made of quality materials. The lenses are very dark and great for sunny days. They are very small, however, so make sure you check the measurements when ordering. I knew they were going to be smaller than my current frames, but opening the box I thought to myself...these look like kids glasses!
